The Oaks Christian School boys golf team advanced to the state tournament by finishing third at the CIF/SCGA Southern California State Championship on Wednesday at Los Serranos Golf Course in Chino Hills. Senior Nickolas Waldock led the way for the Lions, firing a 4-under-par 70 to tie for fourth overall. Freshman Graham Christopher shot a 2-under 72, freshman Max Emberson had an even-par 74, Jared Abercrombie shot a 2-over 76, and Nick Benton had an 80 as Oaks Christian finished with a team total of 372.
